In favor of Bonds breaking Aaron's record?

Postby Zito is God » Fri Mar 03, 2006 4:36 pm

Simply put, are you in favor of Bonds breaking Hank Aaron's record?

I don't like the guy as a person, I absolutely love him as a player. I am all for him breaking it, and me seeing it with my own two eyes. Itn would be a moment in history of baseball that would stay with me forever and I could tell the later generations about it.

Whats your take?

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

I'd be perfectly happy if he never played again.

How about indifferent? I don't really care for the guy but I also don't have the pure hatred some people have against him.

If he breaks, great. If he doesn't, who cares? It should only matter to Barry and the people closest to him. Records are made to be broken BTW.

Same here, but if he does pass Ruth I want him to pass Aaron as well. I really hope he doesn't pass either though.

What an inspiration he would be as the all time home run leader.

I don't want him to break the record. All the hate toward him is actually making me like him more though. I don't understand why, I just don't feel as pissed at him as I used to. I still don't want him to break the record though.

Unless it means he hits 50+ dingers this year, in which case he'd carry my fantasy team. Me winning is more important than some silly old record anyway. :*)

You might also want to mention that you have to have the talent of one of the best hitters in major league history to break this record.
