First year of fantasy baseball... how am I doing so far?

Postby Lakema » Fri Mar 03, 2006 1:54 pm

I'm in a competitive head-to-head league (NON-Keeper) but haven't been following baseball as closely as I needed to recently. My team seems strong but I could really use some advice. Here is my roster:

J. López(Bal - C)
R. Sexson(Sea - 1B)
P. Polanco(Det - 2B,3B)
Á. Rodríguez(NYY - 3B)
M. Ellis(Oak - 2B,SS)
J. Morneau(Min - 1B)
I. Suzuki(Sea - OF)
A. Jones(Atl - OF)
C. Lee(Mil - OF)
M. Bradley(Oak - OF)
M. Alou(SF - OF)
P. Fielder(Mil - 1B)
J. Burnitz(Pit - OF)
F. Hernández(Sea - SP)
A. Pettitte(Hou - SP)
B. Zito(Oak - SP)
D. Báez(LAD - RP)
J. Rincón(Min - RP)
J. Patterson(Was - SP)
C. Sabathia(Cle - SP)
J. Lieber(Phi - SP)
E. Loaiza(Oak - SP)
T. Glavine(NYM - SP)

Here is the setup:
Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, IF, OF, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, DL

Stat Categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

Thanks!

I forgot to mention that this is a 12 team league.

Is there something wrong with this post? Wondering why I didn't get any replies.

You are woefully short on relievers - the two you have are both backups so I've no idea where your saves will come from?

You need to either find a low end closer (e.g. Orvella, Borowski) on the WW, or look to trade.

yea what the guy above me said... you need some RP, try to trade some of your outfield, it seems a bit stacked. Also watch out about J. Lopez, he is splitting time with R. Hernandez in baltimore for the catchers spot

So who do you think I should look to deal and who should I hold on to?
