Very young offensively. Not sold on Ensberg or Renteria.
May need to look for speed and ave.
Good Pitching.

Looks like a good team from here, but Javy Lopez is the starting catcher in Baltimore, your gonna need to drop Hernandez...

Out of those guys, I'd probably say Lo Duca, Piazza is out of NY now and Lo Duca has always been able to put up pretty solid numbers... One of the under rated guys in the league

Lo Duca
Zaun
Leiberthal
that order
Lopez may be DH or 1b. Me may not catch all year.

Not bad, but you need to pair Renteria with a pitcher and get a baseswiping, SS-eligible player becauase your team is speed-challenged. I pointed out Renteria because he's probably the weakest starter you have and he plays a position with many speedy prospects.

You may want to improve your relievers down the road as well, but your SP is pretty good, though.

Lopez will likely DH/1B all year. They didn't fork over all that money to Hernandez to have him get water for the manager..... ;-) :-b

what pitcher with renteria

what do you think of dropping J. Guillén (Was - OF) who was just injured for 3 months for any one of these OF's

J. Lane
(Hou - OF) W (Mar 5) 134 185 - 65 26 78 6 .267
N. Swisher
(Oak - 1B,OF) W (Mar 5) 176 318 - 66 21 74 0 .236
Lu. González
(Ari - OF) W (Mar 5) 188 139 - 90 24 79 4 .271
Á. Ríos
(Tor - OF) FA 205 272 - 71 10 59 14 .262
C. Monroe
(Det - OF) FA 224 166 - 69 20 89 8 .277
D. Young
(Det - 1B,OF) FA 225 249 - 61 21 72 1 .271
A. Kearns
(Cin - OF) FA 227 370 - 62 18 67 0 .240
M. Kotsay
(Oak - OF) FA 250 204 - 75 15 82 5 .280
E. Brown
(KC - OF) FA 260 144 - 75 17 86 10 .286
M. Lawton
(Sea - OF) FA 268 273 - 67 13 53 18 .254
C. Blake
(Cle - 3B,OF) FA 284 290 - 72 23 58 4 .241
J. Encarnación
(StL - OF) FA 288 225 - 59 16 76 6 .287
B. Wilkerson
(Tex - 1B,OF) FA 295 329 - 76 11 57 8 .248

or perhaps a shot in the dark with jason michaels who is a first time starter for the indians and is in a good lineup position

cbs sportsline said about michaels
"Michaels has never been given a full-time opportunity -- mostly because of the hurtin' he puts on left-handed pitching has kept him a a platoon option in Philly (.323 average, .423 on-base percentage in '05 ... .286-.371 in '04 ... .383-.487 in '03). Dealt to the Coco Crisp -less Indians, Michaels will get his chance to play left field full time. His ability to get on base slots him at the No. 2 spot in one of the best young lineups in the game. Hitting between the emerging Grady Sizemore and Jhonny Peralta is one of the coziest spots in baseball. And that's without mentioning that studs Travis Hafner and Victor Martinez are behind him. Michaels is now late-round viable in mixed leagues with his promise of regular duty. "

what do you think?
