Holliday by a mile.

He has a legit shot at 310, 30, 90 with 10SB....

Gomes average will be around 275 with 25HR and 70RBI...

Holliday plays in Coors too so I'd take that even if they were even.

And Brady Anderson hit 50HR once, lol.

Brian Roberts hit 18...Gomes is defiantely a power threat, but that was a fluke, IMO. I think he will max at 30...I also think he could lose ABs because of Delmon, even though he's likely to DH...

Gomes will strike out a billion times and rarely take a walk, this will hurt him in at least a couple categories. Holliday should make nice contributions in all five categories. I don't think this is even close.

I'd take Holliday, and it's not really too close.

I'd definitely take Holliday as well. He won't hit as many HR's as Gomes will, but he'll have a much better average and he'll sprinkle in 10-15 steals. He's a great 3rd OF on any fantasy team.

We name final keepers next weekend and I plan to keep both of them. If I were forced to choose it would easily be Holliday. FWIW here are the averaged projections from 15 mainstream fantasy sources:
Holliday: 543AB / 23.7HR / 12.1SB / 94RBI / 82.7R / 0.3066AV / .8785OPS
Gomes: 516AB / 25.9HR / 11SB / 77.2RBI / 79.8R / 0.2661AV / .8294OPS
