Delmon has to play extremely well in order to earn a starting spot.

I don't think he'll be starting this year, which means he's not worth drafting, except in Keeper & Dynasty leagues

I hope he gets some time in AAA this year. That one walk is nice but he went 4/33 BB/SO in AAA last year and I think he could really use the time until Sept to work on his plate discipline.

My league awards walks, should I pick him up?

Gomes didn't make the club out of spring training either. He joined them in late April and still hit 21 bombs. I expect the same thing from DYoung. If you have an open bench slot put him on it!

Delmon went 0-2 today with two groundouts. Give him some time and he'll be over .300 by the end of the spring. Not enough to make the roster out of ST, but he should be up at worst by the All-Star break this year.

Sorry i didnt know i said this was the deciding factor in his playing time. What i said was that his ST in total will be a large part in the desicion whether he starts in the majors or not. Hes played one game so i posted how he did, and i intend to update it throughout ST.
