Wasn't he hurt for a while, and that was the reason for his sucking?

sucking is still sucking. What did he have(baseball cube is not loading for me) a mid 5 ERA in AAA last year? :-[

thus the reason I got a bunch of cheap ass offers for him in my dynasty

True... but IMO he's too talented to bust, and I don't think his injuries were serious.

My bust is Petit ... he may be a quilty of overachieving in minors.

Well you must not be like everyone else then. :-D The original topic was saying BA came out with it's Top 100 and who would likely be a potential to bust. Well on the list Papelbon is 37th and even at Baseball Prospectus he is 36th, so it seems to me most are considering him a pretty good prospect. Not only that but I've heard him being called a TOR pitcher now for quite a bit, and I just don't agree.

I agree with you on Petit, I think he has a pretty big chance to bust in the majors.

By definition your probably right. When thinking about who are top prospects I'm usually thinking in terms of the top 10-15 and I tend to put a lot of emphasis on age and what level they are playing at.

Wow, I disagree with a lot said in thtis thread.

Hanley Ramirez a bust?

Nope for one thing he has been mashing at the plate in spring training.

I think he is under rated and will kick but

Pitit is going to do decent as well

I think Jenks will be a bust, imo he is still a prospect he has pitched less then 50 innings.

also how can someone say Billingsley and Uptun will b e busts, where is the logic in this?

Well yeah it all comes to personal opinions and preferences when dealing with prospects. Overall a top 50 prospect is close to being a pretty good to a top prospect to IMO debate whether or not he will bust. If you look at BA's ranking while they rate Papelbon at 37, they list Petit I believe in the 70's ... and a good amount of people seem down on him. So someone could say Petit isn't a top prospect either, but a lot of that goes into ones opinions.
