i heard that pudge will be siting out a few games with back spams and im all fien with siting him for a little bit but woll he turn it around soon and start to produce like the normal pudge this year? or should i trade him for a decent catcher that will hit for avg. with a little power?

Check out the comments in the Ivan Rodriguez for Eli Marrero post below. At the moment, the odds are that this is all just a minor thing, but you can never know for sure.

Whether you try to trade him or not depends on what type of player you are (how happy are you with taking risks), how many question marks you already have on your team (if your team lacks a reliable nucleus, trading him becomes a better option) and how much return you'll be able to get for him. Definitely don't give him away at bargain-basement prices. If you shop him, aim for somebody in the Fick to Lieberthal (or possibly currently underachieving Jason Kendall) range with something extra thrown in.

Ouch. Pudge will be out for 4-6 weeks. The old addage of hindsight being 20-20 is never more true than when talking about sports injuries.
