I'm quite happy with it, although there's a lack of SB potential and my relief is a little weak. Any thoughts? By the way, Wilkerson was a FA so I ditched Alex Rios to get him...

Not too bad. Ya might wanna try an trade Ensburg(not sold on him and think he's overvalued) for a 1B and or quality playerw/steals...J.Pierre. good luck.

also a newbie from europe. Good team. I agree with the ensberg deal as you can move francouer into the util. Him and morneau shuold get a premium 1b and some steals in the of, depending on team needs. Shields and garcia may bring some needed pen help.

Your offense looks good. Could use a little more power, but if Morneau starts swinging the stick, you should be fine. Speed will be decent with guys like Cano, Jeter, Wells and Sizemore but it won't win the league. Your average should be fine as well. I like Wilkerson this year. I think his numbers should be pretty good playing in Texas this year. SP looks good. 2 aces and some solid middle of the rotation guys. RP looks decent. Reitsma might be on a short leash in ATL so keep an eye on the waiver wire there. Borowski may not get many opportunities, but should provide solid ERA and WHIP numbers. I really like Lowry on your bench. He had a great 2nd half and should be excellent this year. I think that if you are going to make a trade SP is your biggest asset. I wouldn't worry too much about speed, but Ensberg is expendable with A-Rod at 3rd.

Great feedback - thanks very much. I hadn't planned on trading Ensberg, but I may look to see what I can get for him. I could maybe get Beltran for him (as another team in the league has a glut of OF but only Hillendbrand at 3B) - would that be worth it?

OK - I just traded Ensberg straight up for Juan Pierre, so I'm happy with the upgrade in speed.

There are still one or two holes in the squad, but I can't see me doing many more trades before the start of the season...

Relievers are weak, you can afford to trade an outfielder for a reliever. good luck

That's true, but my options are slim given that the top closers are spread out evenly in the 12 team league (other than mine!).

This guy could certainly use some OF help. What trade do you think I could pull to get Hoffman (as I'd have to give up too much for Nathan)? Do you Jenkins & Borowski would be reasonable trade bait?
