12 Team 5x5 Roto:

c - Varitek
1b - Howard
2b - Iguchi
3b - A.Ramirez
ss - Rollins
of - Crawford
of - Wells
of - Holliday
util- Crisp
bn - Dye
bn - Morneau

sp - C.Zambrano
sp - Burnett
rp - Nathan
rp - Gonzalez
p - Kazmir
p - D.Cabrera
p - S. Linebrenk
bn- Ol. Perez
bn- Radke
bn- A. Reyes

I think I have great balance with my hitters and some good upside their and with my starting pitching. However I think I needed another ace on my pitching staff.

What do you guys think?

Your offense is great. Your pitching isnt that bad. You dont need another ace. You just need a #3 guy or maybe a #2 guy depends on how much you will have to give up. YOu might not even need another SP. Wait and see what happens during the season or see what kind of trade you can get.

your pitching isnt as bad as you would think oliver perez has great potential and cabrera is going to give you 150 plus ks especially with mazzone as his pitching coach. you could use another stud if you could afford it but your team as it is is not that bad

Well I definitely need one of Reyes, Kazmir and Cabrera to step up and I think my chances are prety good that at least one of them will.

What did you guys think of my bullpen? Am I in prety big trouble?

I like your team, especially your offense. You'ev taken a good approach with pitching, because it can be so upredicatble. I think you've picked a team that has a serious chance to compete because it has balance, not only in categories, but also in players who are dependable(Zambrano, Ramirez, nathan) and those that could wildly overachieve(Perez, Howard, Crisp)

i think your pitching is perfectly fine for now. at most you might look at another closer. but your pitching situation is much much better than mine.

Ditto. a third closer will help. Cabrera and possibly kazmir could be a nice surprise. Wouldn't expect kazmir to get a lot of wins with the pitching matcups in the al east as a top starter, but he will rack up the k's.

my team. I need help!

not bad. if your league has a max innnings pitched you might need to be careful. yahoo default is 1250 and you have 8 SP. I would look to do a 2 for 1 where you give up two sp and get 1 who is slightly better back. I agree in that I don't think you need an ace but just a little upgrade. You could drop a sp and add a rp also.

Your staff is not horrible. I would try to see if you can work out a trade for a pitcher that could help you in Wins. Your staff should be alright in most categories, but I do not see them doing too well in Wins.
