I like him too, but I think he'll need time to adjust. For this year, I wouldn't look for too much, but in a keeper league, he's a solid investment.

Hopefully, management will allow the kids to play all year. If that is the case, VM will certainly have some growing pains, but I think he's the best option. I think 2005 will be his true breakout year.

I think he'll hit .300 this year, Too bad, I really liked Josh Bard but Martinez is an amazing youngster.
