Advice For My Team Going Forward - WHIR

Postby tmyanks24 » Wed Mar 01, 2006 10:04 pm

I really don't like the fact that I have 3 OFers on my bench, but I think that all three are pretty good and that, because of who I have in my league, I couldn't possibly get equal value for them in a trade. As of now, Wily Mo Pena's going to hit 30 home runs on my bench. How should I approach this situation?

Who on this team should I deal, and what should I be looking to get in return? Any general advice or comments?

your pitching is great but your offense needs improvments in the OF and 3b. That Of is filled with too many "eh" players. I dont see any big trades happening because it would break your team. But unless the trade is a no brainer or you get an upgrade at second, i would prolly sit tight and see what happens, then you can make trades if you need to (but im predicting right now you will) your pitching is really good though, see what you can get if anything for Chris Young. Maybe package him with Lowell or an OF. Look for a team that needs a 2B, they might want lowell

Rowand, Green and Gomes are very similar players. Gomes is my favourite among those three because of his speed and the Rays tend to run a lot. I think Rowand's numbers are going to take a dip this season, try packaging him with Lowell or an RP to get a decent 3B.

I would hang on to Chris Young, he should be able to put up good ratios in a full season at PETCO.

Firstly, rhanks for the help with mine. Gomes should be in your starting lineup. Good job.
