WOW! A ton of power. You are going to have to find a way to get Pierre into the lineup most of the time, as he and Freel are your only real sources of speals. You have a nice core of pitching with Peavy, Willis, Bonderman and Garland and a couple solid closers. I would look to deal some of your power for another good starter and some more speed...... All in all a pretty good looking roster.

Sheffield for Turnbow or Valverde? Are you kidding? The only closers I would trade for Sheffield straight up are Lidge and K-Rod. If it's a roto league you gotta have Pierre in your lineup. Try packaging Giambi for an upgrade at 2B, SP or another closer. (See if you can get VMart.)

Anyways, I believe your team will be a contender this season.

Your pitching isnt that bad and it will be good enough for you to compete. trade Adam Dunn for a RP. You dont need SP help.

relief pitching is not a highly valued commodity in my league, saves are counted and relivers aid in strikeouts, era, and whip to a degree but there is not a chance that i would trade one of my big boppers for a closer upgrade.

p.s.
this is a head to head league

thanks to all that post!
