He means he could hit 30 HR's in the future and be in the 3rd spot in the line up, but for now he thinks he is more suited for a lead off job.
Weeks is a guy that is going to have an OBP that will be above .100 over his avg, so the top of the order seems like an obvious place to me for him especially with his speed. If he just gets his avg. up to 260-.270 this year, that's a OPB of around .370 ... which is right there w/ Clark's from last year.

Steve-o wrote:Lee, Geoff Jenkins, and Clark are the OF. You may be thinking of Corey Hart who will be called up when Lee is traded, if he isn't on the team already.
Jenkins injury history scares me.
The point about Weeks is that he is a varied hitter who can bat 1st or 3rd or even 4th. Maybe he will develop more patience and the 2 spot will work out for him.
Right, I mention Jenkins in the SAME POST as I ask who plays right for them, shows you how bad my memmory really can be.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Hart will make the team. He'll be the #4 outfielder and might see action at 1st base. Hardy is one of the best defensive shortstops I've ever seen. He is very patient at the plate and doesn't chase to may balls. Hardy hit near .300 in the second half of the season and could eventually bat leadoff once Clark's time in MIL is done. For now either he or Hall will most likely hit there.

The Lineup will look like this come opening day:
Brady Clark
Rickie Weeks
Geoff Jenkins
Carlos Lee
Prince Fielder
Corie Koskie
JJ Hardy
Damien Miller
Hardy could climb and hit anywhere from 2nd (with Weeks hitting third then C Lee then Jenkins) or 7th-9th.
Can you imagine if Fielder belts 30+ this year, the Crewcould have a 100+ HR 3,4,5 combo! Go Crew!
