In an eight team league your team is very weak. Your strategy is a bad one, especially in a year like this when there are plenty of good SPs. Pitching categories are always less predictable than Hitting Cats, especially Ws and SVs. If all your pitchers stay healthy you will probably win Ks everyweek, but that's pretty much the only category you are guaranteed to dominate. Some hitters on your roster barely deserve a roster spot.

You have to make some great deals and work the WW real hard to be competitive this year.

i would consider trading some pitching for some offense or keep a close eye on the waiver wire. if you choose to trade pitching keep santana and either johnson or oswalt. i do not think that duke will have nearly as good of a year as he did last year. khalil greene is someone to drop, i think that you do have some important pieces, now is the time to round your lineup out.

I agree that in an eight team league, this is a very weak team. Lot's of guys with super-short track records: Barajas, Weeks, Cantu, Peralta, Hermida, Duke. You can jettison that entire bench; none of those guys is worth having in an eight team league. I have a feeling your team is going to bat a collective .265 or so, but you do have a good (not great) mix of power and speed. Your closers should whip butt, however you have no depth at SP. You need to ditch those worthless bench batters for more SP's. In this small of a league, there has to still be some pretty darn good starters on the wire.........
