Just wondering how I did with this team. I know i'm really weak at speed and I don't think my RP are that great.

The leauge setup is:
R, H, HR, RBI, SB, TB, AVG, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, and K/9.
It's an 8 team league.

C J. Lopez
1B Teixeira
2B Cantu
3B Mi. Cabrera
SS M. Young
IF Helton
LF Bonds
CF Sizemore
RF Lane
OF Drew
Util Konerko

SP J. Santana
SP Oswalt
RP Isringhausen
RP F. Cordero
RP Foulke
P Beckett
P Myers
P Webb

Bench: Hafner, Giambi, P. Wilson, Hardy, Garland, Lowry, Bonderman

There are some good FA too, would any of these be worth picking up?

Wilkerson, G. Jenkins, Iguchi, Ordonez

Thanks for the input

Your team is strong in every area except the OF. Hafner is the real deal, trade Kornerko and Giambi for some OF help. You can move Texieira if you like, but make sure you're getting a super star in return. One trade comes to my mind is Kornerko(or Giambi) for Blalock, you can then plug MCab in OF.

You have no speed at all besides Sizemore.

Can't do much better than the Johan-Oswalt one two punch.

Don't worry about saves, even with the three you have you can finish the catergory in the middle of the pack. Just make sure you keep an eye on the WW for closers.

Definately trade one of your 1st basemen for OF/Speed whatever you want. Just make sure you're getting fair value for them.

Your team is stacked. Your offense is full of power and you have 4 power hitting 1B. Speed is lacking. SP is excellent. All of those guys will be slid and you can't do much better than Santana and Oswalt at the top. Your RP shoud be good. I'd keep an eye on Foulke and see what his status is like, but if healthy, you should be near the top in Saves. Your bench is excellent. I really like Hafner, Giambi, Garland, Lowry and Bonderman there. I wouldn't go for any of those FA that you have listed. However, you definitely need to shop a 1B for some speed. For any of those guys you should be able to pull in at least a Figgins/Podsednik type guy. You could probably get more if they are starving for a power 1B. I don't know how you managed to get Tex and Santana as both have gone in the 1st in every draft I've seen, but good work.

Going after Figgins is a great idea. He will bring speed and versatility to your team. As far as free agents go, keep an eye on Ordonez, he might be a better option than Lane.

I might be able to get Crawford for Oswalt, would this work in my favour?

It's a fair trade in terms of draft position, but I would stay put. Post his roster up here we'll see what we can do.

His team:

C V. Martinez
1B Ortiz
2B Giles
3B Blalock
SS Tejada
IF Dunn
LF Crawford
CF Wells
RF Huff
OF C. Lee
Util R. Howard

SP Peavy
SP Sheets
RP Lidge
RP Gordon
RP Benitez
P Baez
P Shields
P Borowski

Bench:

Polanco
Dye
M. Sweeney
Wood
Lackey
Mussina
Hernandez

Our teams may seem a little stacked considering one of the teams drafted only Jose's and Jorge's, so its more like a 7 team league...

I would try something like Kornerko(or Hafner)/Oswalt for Crawford/Dunn/Wood.

Personally I'd rather have Iguchi than Cantu, but that's just me; I'm sure that opinion won't be shared by many.

It's tough to not have a stacked team in an eight-team league and the rest of your roster looks absolutely killer! You really do need some speed, though..........

drop wilson pick up wilkerson, trade konerko and one of your OF for some speed and move hafner into the Uti. as he will put up comparable numbers to Tex without the position eligibility.
