I got a problem, the week that I'm signed up for, is the week I'll be in Mexico for spring break. So instead of causing you guys to reschedule I'll just step down and you can put in a reserve poster.

Suppasonic won the first debate, and the 2nd debate is now up and running (we had to wait for both debaters to check in). Feel free to post commentary on debates THAT HAVE FINISHED in this thread as welljavascript:emoticon(';-D') ;-D

I saw the topic for Tvaish's debate, and it seems you also gave them mandatory sides, some people were complaining about this earlier. I just hope they dont drop out.

This was a decision made by giants, he really wanted this to be a debate rather than a set of essays (bad example but you guys get it). We decided that we would flip a coin to decide who had "home field advantage" that person then had first choice on which side to argue and the other person was then given the other side. Hopefully this doesn't cause a massive loss in interest, but this was the best we could come up with to keep it structered as a debate.

In the spirit of Around the Horn and Pardon the Interruption, you can answer a question the same way and still debate the reasons WHY.

I have to throw my hat in the ring with those who say they can't argue for something they don't believe in.

If I could, I'd be a sleazy salesman or a politician.

This isn't Harvard Law, this is a bunch of sports fans.
