Who do you value more Eli or A.J.?

Will Eli be the full time catcher for the cards this year or will he be this years Robert Fick? This will be a keeper league decision.

Projections for both?

Marrero might play OF which hurts him, but if he is just a catcher I would take him projection:

.275, 103(h), 18(hr), 65(rbi), 33(bb), 7(sb)

Not Bad

Aj:
.278, 125, 8, 52, 15, 1

I would Choose Marrero!!!

Marrero is going to play right until Drew comes back. If he is eligible at catcher in your league great, but don't expect him to catch too many games. And he will have move than 7 stolen bases. I'd go with him over A.J.

AJ swings at everything. Eventually, people are going to stop pitching to him. Go with Eli.

Go with Marrero. Also, Marrero will probably find his way in as catcher in enough games to remain qualified there for the next few seasons. Even if he only finds sporadic playing time after Drew's return, he could still outproduce AJ.

Absolutely Adequate's right. AJ's BA took a major nosedive in the second half last year after everybody figured out he's never seen a pitch he didn't like. Go with Eli.
