Good, Great, or Bad Team?

Postby TheLadiezMan » Wed Mar 01, 2006 1:30 am

I had the first pick in an 8 team Roto league. I felt like I could of done a lot better but oh well theres time to improve. Everytime I went to pick up speed Crawford, Figgins, and Pierre were snatched from me. I picked up Overbay in the hopes that I can package him with one of my pitchers to get a pretty decent outfielder as im lacking in that department. What else do you guys see?

Not sure how much value Overbay has in a 8 team league. 1b is a deep position they would have to be really hurting at 1b to give up any value for him.

Yeah, I'm not sure there are any good trades for you out there. You just don't have the offensive depth to trade away any of your decent players. Despite your lack of speed, the offense looks solid elsewhere and the defense looks competitive too. If you're lucky, you can win it even without the speed.
