My buddy is a big Neil Finn fan. He's even seen him live a few times. I haven't really gotten into his music much.

Quadraphenia is possibly one of the greatest albums of all time.

BTW most early The Beatles songs were written as in the strict song format of verse chorus bridge chorus or something like that. It wasn't until around the Revolver they began to break away from traditional formats. and Magical Mystery Tour where they expanded song length.
