Greg Maddux's line:
6 hits, 0 walks, and gave up 7 earned runs.
From the game notes, there were no hit batters, no dropped 3rd strikes, no errors...
Can anybody explain how is that possible? If he only allowed 6 baserunners, how is it that he was charged with 7 earned runs?

Ahh - thanks. the HBP wasn't in any of the stats I was looking at and the game log was also gone.
Ouch... every single baserunner scored. That sucks...

It stinks more when you had Maddux start yesterday.

If every single baserunner scored, you have to think that that was at least very bad luck on Maddux's part and can't be too discouraged by his performance. The league average is that 30% of runners that reach base score, so 100% scoring has to be just very bad luck.
