How bad's my team?

Postby 123inningplz » Tue Feb 28, 2006 3:08 pm

Yahoo H2H, 12 teams, 5x5 stats...

Accidently took Wilkerson 4th, b/c he was in my queue (where I had my would-be sleepers for later rounds) and I couldn't make up my mind b/w Dunn or Ensberg when time ran out and I got Wilkerson. I would delete this team (too much injury risk, not enough power besides Big Papi, not enough speed, etc.), but I like my pitching staff which, though it isn't the deepest, is the most talented in my league hard as that is to believe.

Your offense will definitely need some work, especially with Wells' latest injury.

I'd try and trade either Peavy or Halladay for a bat or two. Try to get a big time OF bat for one of those pitchers.

I agree, you're in some trouble. You'll need Beltre and/or Rolen to have big comeback years. For now, dangle Halladay and see if someone is willing to really boost your offense for him. Or, just give up on power altogether. Trade Ortiz for another top starter and low reliever, and shift your offense to speed and average. That might work even better.
