Thoughts on Ichiro

He had kind of a weird season when you sit back and look at it. He had career lows in hits, doubles, avg and obp but put up career highs in triples, homers and came within one rbi of his career high there. What kind of hitter is he becoming going into his age 32 season? It seems obvious that the increase in power came with a (somewhat) predictable decrease in contact and consequently average. What kind of numbers do you guys expect from him this year? I am going to take a shot at a prediction:

210 hits, 115 runs, 25 doubles, 9 triples, 13 homers, 64 rbi, 52 walks, 60 k's, 35 steals, 11 cs, .328 average, .370 obp.....

What do you think? I haven't seen much discussion about him......

Yea that's very possible for him to get those numbers. They said they would let Ichiro swing more, rather than taking pitches, so his numbers should go up, maybe not his average though.

Ive heard on sportscenter, and other things, that his teammates say he can hit homeruns at will in BP. He is easily capable of repeating those HR numbers. but what you should expect is an increase in avg, and a slight decrease in homers, maybe 10-15, considering he only hit .300 last year
