i really believe in this kid... but the guy who has him is asking for delmon in return (he said that he would throw in laroche too). should i do that??

I like Quentin a lot, too, but don't make that trade. Minor leaguers are too unpredictable. You very rarely get a sure thing like Delmon Young. Even for guys like LaRoche and Quentin.

I love Quentin but you have to keep Delmon Young..and LaRoche's power outage late last year has me raising an eyebrow ...

In 1995, Alex Rodriguez was one of the top prospects in ages. He was almost unanimously acclaimed as the top prospect. Much as Delmon is today.

Quentin and Laroche, according to my research, are about the 9th and 23rd best prospects overall. In 1995, Baseball America ranked Johnny Damon and Scott Ruffcorn as the 9th and 23rd best prospects.

In other words, I'll trade you Damon and Ruffcorn for Arod. You in?

Delmon is a sure thing, Quentin and LaRoche have questions, Quentin's TJ surgery really worries me as well.
