To me, he's one guy Ive seen all over the board projections wise..Ive seen his 3rd base rank anywhere from 5th to 15th. We all know what he's done in the past pre injury and his pontial, but are all to well aware of his horrible injury and surgeries in 05.. This year will he return to his great levels of the past, be a flop or somewhere in the mediocre middle of the pack?

I hope to get him in the 8-9 round range. I would feel better about him if he was hitting better pre-injury last year.

i think he will be somewhere in the middle of the pack of 3b's. every thing i have read so far says that while the cards will take it easy with him early he is healthy and feels good. i have even read that he feels as good as he has in years (that shoulder had bothered him for a while). still, i have a somewhat muted projection for him
.280,26hr,100rbi,90runs
thats not really anything special by 3b standards.

I to do not think he will get to his #'s pre 05 either. Those #'s you brought up would put him in the Melvin Mora, Adrian Beltre range. That is probably where he may land.. 9-12th ranked 3rd bagger.. Anyone else?

What did Mora do to be insulted? Beltre will not come close to psoting Mora's numbers barring a return to the juice.

The last month he was healthy, his numbers were very solid. He just had a terrible start.
I like him to be a solid player this year, and a good value in the 8-9 round.
