Interesting team. You selected a lot of high risk/high reward players in Patterson, Beltre, Clemens, Gagne, Perez, and Seo. Monitor them early on....

I like the top of your rotation - Prior, Harden, and Haren are all solid pitchers and should have good seasons...Young should be an adaquete fill in for one of your injured pitchers, and Seo, Perez, Clemens are all solid risks at this stage of the game. With a solid top 4...you can take the luxury of waiting it out for some of these guys.

Relief wise, Street is a stud, and Gordon will pick up some saves. His stuff has been fading the past couple of years so don't expect 50 saves with a 1.5 ERA....He is probably going to be around 36-40 saves with around a 3 ERA with lots of strikeouts and average WHIP. I love having Gagne in there because he could be the best fantasy closer period by the end of the season...

Offensively - I think you need to upgrade your outfield. Patterson is not a good ballplayer at this stage. He is a very risky pick, but I can't see him being the 30-20 guy that people wanted. He has tools, but he doesn't know how to use them...or take a pitch. I'm not sure who to look at to upgrade. 12 teams probably destroys the WW, but keep your eyes open...Maybe even make a minor deal for a Gomes or Francouer who aren't great....but could turn out to be far better than what you gave up for them. If I had to make a trade it would probably be one of my SP. Be careful though, you need solid depth there as your aces have histories of bad health.

Yeah, I like the team a lot, but if there's one weakness, it's the OF. Patterson could put up big numbers this year, so you may not want to trade him, but an upgrade at OF would make you that much stronger.

It could pan out to be a great team, but except for Teix you don't have any sure-thing hitters. Try trading packaging Gordon to get a Huff-type in the OF.

I think u need to trade one of your pitchers for a proven outfielder.

I would look 4 someone like W. Peña(Cin - OF) or J. Hermida (Fla - OF) in your free agents 2 bulk up ur OF.... i like your pitching if u can snag another good pitcher off your FAs u can use them as tradebait for OFs

Hermida, W. Pena, and Gathright are all on the FA list, and for pitching, D. Cabrera, E. Bedard, S. Baker and Od. Perez are some names out there...who would you recommend I pick up and who to drop for them?

I pretty much agree with the other guys. You definately need to get more power on hitting. The pitching looks awesome, but the lack of power is obvious, unless by some miracle, Beltre has an amazing year. BTW... what's the deal with McCann?
