Is anyone else here not living in the New York area. I alwayshave Indians fans breathingdown myneck saying im not a true Yankees fan.As i tell them, my dad and all his family originate from Long island. Anyone else, please contact.

I live in Reno, Nevada and have been a Yanks fan my whole life. I picked it up off my Dad who was born in Queens before the Mets were a team. Just give them a little jab about their lack of WS Championships or hit them with some of your knowledge about the team and that usually does the trick. ;-D

Anyways I've had people call me a fake fan before...

Then I explain that everyone in my family accept for me was born in NYC..
