Run, Pierre, run...

Lovin' Juan Pierre. Just traded for him last week. He stole 4 bases the first 4 games I had him, and has already added 3 more tonight in the first 3 innings.

Steals is one of those categories that people who have speed love, and people who don't hate it. Now that I have it, I'm happy.

I also added Podsednik as he has been running pretty well too.

I can afford the power drop since my infield is:
Lopez, Helton, Vidro, A-rod, and Pujols.

Pierre is very underrated. I would value him as high if not higher than Ichiro at this point.

I have had Pierre since Day 1, when I drafted him for "a little extra help at SB". Now, he's less than 10 bases away from his season total last year!!!

He's probably as untouchable on my team as Barry Zito. He and Renteria are singlehandedly winning the SB category for me very week!!

Pierre has a lot of value. I traded him a week ago for Guardro to
shore up my closers. I was in second place in steals with no hope
of catching first place, but with enough speed(key is Podsednik) to
hold on to second place. Other owners has first place locked in
saves, but can't catch me in steals. Good trade for both.

That's the joy of a head-to-head league. Pierre can help me just as much on day 162 as he did on day 1!!!!

I drafted both Pierre and Dave Roberts. The 2 of them have stolen bases covered for my team.

Pierre is definitley a one catagory dude. His average sometimes can go near .300, and he will hit about 3-4 homers at year. :*)

jenks, By my count I say he is a 3 category dude. Steals, avg., runs. Also, I think I would rather have 75 steals and no hr's than 40 and 10 hr's. Anyway, he is underrated and he has the added bonus of 3rd base steals. When will he start stealing home?

3-4 homers a year? Try 3 in the last 2 years combined, in Colorado! :-B
