i thought i posted a question about him earlier, but now i can't find it. doh!

i'm pondering an attempt to pick him up, hoping he'll storm back in the second half. good idea? you guys think he'll crank it up before yom kippur?

I think Shawn will crank it up. He's been a consistent hitter (meaning yearly stats) over the past couple of years and I don't see how he can decline that fast. Green's streaky, so he's a stud when he's hot. He's been cold all year, but there's reason to believe based on past years that it will not stay that way.

I traded for pencil neck Green about a month ago thinking he was going to get hot. He hasn't got hot and now I am having my doubts about him this season. I'm doubting him so much now that I just made a trade and got Chipper so I can put Green on my bench. I'm hoping he heats up like you are, but right now pencil neck shouldn't be in anybodys starting lineup. If you do trade to get him don't give up too much because he isn't worth crap right now.

I traded for Shawn Green also and then just traded and picked up Chipper Jones.

Now I am waiting for Green to get it going.
