How will Sorinao react??

Postby Fenway05 » Sat Feb 25, 2006 1:37 am

How much will Sorinao's stats be affected if Frank Robinson forces him to play the OF?

I heard the yesterday and the radio that Frank Robinsons "old school" approach would be to bench Soriano in order to prove who was in control of the team. This was followed by a list of teams he may be traded to.

Another trade is Soriano's only hope of being productive this year. The guy hit about .230 with 10 or 11 HRs on the road last year and Washington is far tougher to hit in than your average AL road park (and less familiar to him). And that was when he was happy with his situation. You will be glad to have stayed a long way away from Alphonso unless he happens to get moved to a team with no 2B that plays in another hitter's paradise.

just? you should have already had him there with possibly figgins ahead of soriano as well. you're just better off letting someone else take soriano and save yourself the hassle, just like im going to do with chris carpenter.

Manager Frank Robinson said yesterday that Alfonso Soriano will not play in either of the two exhibition games before the start of the World Baseball Classic.
"He's not playing because I didn't put him in the lineup," Robinson said. This situation is on a path to ugliness. Mar. 1 - 9:47 am et

Soriano's numbers will take a nosedive if he has to play in RFK. He's got to be traded.

yeah id avoid him....i made the mistake of not dropping my ranking on soriano, and ended up getting him in round 2....so hopefully i can get someone who thinks he'll do well to trade

however....if he moves to the of...it might be nice to have the 2b/of eligability

I will be avoiding Soriano and Delgado because of their moves, but what was the idea behind not drafting Carpenter.. I hadn't heard of anything to indicate avioding him...
