So I was talking to this girl tonight, setting up a date for tomorrow night. I'm 28, she's 31. She's really cute and quite good at things men and women can do together.
I hope that's PG enough.
Anyway, we talked for 3-4 minutes, discussing what we were going to do. Her cell phone rang. She asked for a moment. I could hear her talking on the other line. It was a guy she'd dated for a few years off and on and broke up with 8 months ago.
I heard the following phrases:
"I can't talk to you"
"stop calling"
and then came the reason I'm asking. She asked
"How's your n***** girlfriend?"
Holy God. When she got back, I asked her if I heard right. After some hemming and hawing, she admitted it. She claims that she said it because her ex has been calling and harassing her. She claims she's been trying to anger/sicken him so he'll stop calling.
The problem is that she's angered and sickened me.
So the question is "should I call this off?" What would you do?
If she's telling the truth, I don't see anything wrong with it aside from the fact that she should be a little more mature about past relationships. If it goes beyond this incident, then there's a problem. I have a feeling it might, but enjoy the sex while you can.

Nah, a word like n***** is a lot more loaded with some crass meaning than a swearword. Very different.
But, like has been said, not necessarily a reason to dump someone in her situation. Get the pootie, and if she ends up being a true racist, then you end it.

I disagree, the N word shows character and that would be a character flaw. However, I say a lot of things when I am angry even stuff I don't believe in so I don't know man.
You have no frame of reference, Donny. You're like a child who walks into the middle of a movie...
All right. Thanks, guys. It made me wildly uncomfortable to think she's a racist. If that's the case, I'll drop her. But I do want to give her another chance, to take her at her word.
And I'm already dating another two women. With another on the back-burner, ready to help in case of emergency.
