who is going to help me more? the hitting categories are; R, HR, RBI, AVG, OBP, Ks, and SBs. I figure that they are both going to hurt equally in Ks, Hinske should steal a couple of bases, and Tex should hit more HRs. What do you guys think? I'm leaning towards Hinske, already has a solid year under his belt and is in the better lineup. Thanks.

For the rest of this year I say Hinske, as long as he shows no further wrist problems. Tor is on a tear which also helps. Next year on belongs to Tex.

When you type "Tex" for short I hope you're not saying "TEX" as in Texas. In case you're more of a fantasy guru than a baseball guru, it's pronounced [teh-share-uh] not [tee-ex-air-uh] or anything like that.

When you type "Tex" for short I hope you're not saying "TEX" as in Texas. In case you're more of a fantasy guru than a baseball guru, it's pronounced [teh-share-uh] not [tee-ex-air-uh] or anything like that.

I'm not sure but, I think I have read it somewhere before...? :-o

I'll take Teixeira (this is the correct spelling) ;-)

. Hinske wasn't producing before the injury even though the team was crushing the ball. I'm not sold on him. I think he will do better next year, but for the rest of this season, I'd go with Tex.

i, too, am a teixeira fan. nice jack, last night, taboot.

he'll hit for more power, better avg, more rbi and runs. hinske will take him on steals, but by what, 6 or 7?

you are correct about the pronunciation but i have heard showalter refer to him as 'tex' on an occasion or two.
