Rank these guys

We're doing a dispersal draft of the prospects in the TB/AZ minor league systems, and my pick is coming up. These are the guys I'm thinking about:

Arizona
Miguel Montero, C
Garrett Mock, SP
Enrique Gonzalez, SP
Matt Torra, SP

Tampa Bay
Wes Bankston, 1B
Reid Brignac, SS
Elijah Dukes, OF
Jason Hammel, SP
James Houser, SP
Wade Davis, SP
Wade Townsend, SP
Jon Matulia, OF
Joey Gathright, OF (minor leaguer at the beginning of 2005, so he's in)
Jacob McGee, SP
Garrett Groce, OF
Matt Walker, SP

I don't know much about the minor leagues, so if anyone has any insight I would appreciate it.

Well a quick run down I could narrow it down to these fairly easily:

Arizona
Miguel Montero, C
Matt Torra, SP

Tampa Bay
Wes Bankston, 1B
Reid Brignac, SS
Elijah Dukes, OF
Jason Hammel, SP
Wade Davis, SP
Joey Gathright, OF
Matt Walker, SP

If you want a pitcher, the best bet is to go w/ J. Hammel. He is close to being in the rotation and should develope into a nice middle of the rotation pitcher. However if you want the one I think has the best ceiling, it would be W. Davis. The bad thing though is that he only starts Low A this year, so he is one of the furthest away.

If you want to go the position player route, E. Dukes would be the way to go. He has make up issues, as he has been compared to Bradely at times, but the kid is a great athlete and will most likely be a 20/20 OF in the pros.

Anyways hope that helps.

Id also keep an eye on Garrett Mock. His numbers don't look great but he has lots of potential and played in a very good hitters park.

Well Dukes just got picked and I'm on the clock now. I've got the Mariners franchise (and I took over for a dead owner who let the team go to crap), and have basically no chance at winning this year. So I need help everywhere, not pitching or hitting specifically. I just want a good player. I saw that Bankston was rated the #3 TB prospect here: http://www.sportsblurb.com/minors/farm4.asp , but I don't know if this is a great site or not.

I guess it comes down to who is the best prospect, Bankston, Hammel, Davis, or Mock. It's so tough with pitchers that I guess I'm leaning towards Bankston unless anyone can talk me out of it. ;-)

Well, I actually like Brignac over Bankston so if your looking for a hitter Id go with Brignac. I also like Hitters over pitchers so overall Id probably go with Brignac then Hammel, Bankston, Davis, and Mock.
