To be fair, they may not be versed in Wrigley lore about throwing back the opposing home runs, since that action gets you kicked out in every other stadium in the league.

True, but everyone chanting "Throw it back!" is a subtle hint. ;-)

I liked it when the ball would go out of the stadium and 10 seconds later fly back in over the bleachers from Waveland. That gets the crowd excited.
