bob seger is tolerable for about 5 minutes of humor. there's a 10 minute transition period that follows, but after 15 minutes, i start throwing chairs and uprooting trees.
mostly, it comes down to that guitar line from "down on main street," but i hear seger's voice and reflexively associate it with that painful sound. at parties, my friends invariably will taunt me by slipping it into the playlist.
