Talking Heads are awesome, I just got 77 and Remain in Light a couple weeks ago. Plus, guess where Radiohead got their name?
And Band of Gypsys is incredible.

talking heads: brilliant. "77" and "remain in light" are both terrific, but don't forget, "more songs about building and food."
ever listen to "marquee moon" by television? or "white music" by xtc? great records, similar vein.
band of gypsies: SO much more powerful/soulful than the experience. mitch mitchell couldn't hold a candle to buddy miles.
