Sixteen Stone is their best album, but I think Razorblade Suitcase and Golden State are pretty good. Some of the Science of Things is ok.

Audioslave
Foo Fighters
Queens of the Stone Age
The Eagles
I am really surprised at all the audioslave love.
The two musicians with the most connections to the bands mentioned here are probably Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and one album for Queens of the Stone Age) and Tom Morello (Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine)
