After scanning through the posts here in the classifieds section for a few new leagues I saw a few leagues are "franchise" leagues, in which you take over a current MLB team and it becomes a dynasty keeper league I presume. Well, while I do like the idea, it seems a little too much (30 x 25 = 750 players taken) so I've come up with the idea of starting a dynasty league in which you start your franchise with 2 MLB clubs. Meaning, everybody would make their intial rosters based off of 2 current MLB clubs. That would make it a 15 team league (all 30 MLB teams accounted for) with let's say, 30 man rosters and possibly some sort of minor league roster if people would want that (if this appeals to anybody at all).
If enough people are interested in this, I'd like to some sort of team "draft", just so the last guy who joins isn't stuck with the Royals and Pirates (or any other combination of 2 bad teams). Or potentially use some rule such as you must pick one team that finished over .500 last year and one under .500 last year to keep things balanced at the beginning. Again, I have no idea if this appeals to anybody except myself, just thought it was something a little different. Reply here, email me at
