I thought the guy had 3B eligibility and Yahoo has him only as 1B and OF. With the 3B eligibility his value goes way up and in mosts drafts at a cheap price.

they wont give it to him until he plays in the requisite amount of games (i think its 5 for yahoo). he is expected to start there so it shouldnt be long before he is 3b eligible.

if its yahoo its 5 games started or 10 appearances.
Batters need either 5 Games Started or 10 Games Played at a position to gain eligibility. Pitchers need 3 Starts to gain SP eligibility, 5 Relief Appearances to gain RP eligibility.
yahoo now has a nice tool for you to keep track of how games/starts are need to be eligible. click on the 'players' tab and then 'position eligibility'.
