I saw Myers pitch a lot over the summer in Scranton and he most certainly has the goods. Unbelievable fastball and a pretty wicked curve to boot. Only problem may be his aggressiveness, he's much like a Clemens with his fiery demeanor. He tends to rely on his fastball too much when everything else isn't working too. If he can ever get his aggressiveness under control and just let his stuff do his talking, he'll be an ace for years to come.

Funny note, Myers was a key part of the SWB/Columbus brawl in a game this summer. Ugly game, SWB won like 19-1, pitchers throwing at batters. I guess Myers and Drew Henson have some sort of past so Myers threw at Henson and Henson charged the mound, igniting a huge bench clearing brawl.

If you can get him vheap in a keeper, he'll payoff in the long run. Trev's probably accurate in his predictions ... maybe afew more wins.

Temper your expectations for the next year or so..He has the stuff to be great..but so have a lot of other young pitchers. I expect him to be a solid 2 guy at the leat.

I think Myers is a good #3-4 pitcher in your rotation. This year may be the Phillies year.

I love the phillies this year, I'm just saying he is a good # 5 pitcher for your fantasy team or a good 1st back up, not 3.
