I have an option to keep either one of these blossoming shortstops. Who do you think is a better keeper option? :-?

Both are nice...tough choice, I'm sure you'll get a lot of debate on this one...

I'd go with Peralta... ;-D

If you look at his OBP/SLG/OPS and AB/HR they are all better than Tejada's last year...and I think he's only 24... :-L

Only can keep 3 so I'm going with Utley, Street, and either Peralta or Lopez

I would drop Street.

I think Peralta is probably the better pure hitter, but two things that make me like Lopez a little better: SS/2B eligibility (although that may not last beyond this year) and his speed. I think he has 20/20 potential and so far Peralta has shown no penchant for running whatsoever. Another factor to keep in mind: Peralta is a couple years younger......

I agree. Closers practically sprout from the ground some years. He's not as valuable as good young hitters........
