Thanks for posting your list. I was trying to remember what my roomate in college listened too. Aesop Rock and Dialated Peoples are good stuff I forgot all their names he was big into underground rock.
And Lambskin
Mr.Show live! Awesome! Lucky man!
Also:
I think Van Halen should only be counted if DLR was the lead singer

yeah, the Mr Show was pretty awesome. just to clarify, it wasnt a taping of the HBO show but a live tour they did with some new/old skits.
the best was probably Bob Odenkirk coming out and doing a Hank Williams Jr "Are You Ready for Some Football" parody
What ever happened to good ole bob.. I saw about 10 seconds of Melving Goes to Dinner and had to turn it off
Melvin was OK, at least watchable.
i know he has something to do with that crappy Tom Goes To The Mayor show on Cartoon Network. i think he's writing some other stuff
http://www.bobanddavid.com is always good for checking out updates on those two...and it has Doug Benson's hilarious movie reviews

Highest score on Arlo's whoa-these-guys-went-the-extra-mile-and-then-some-o-meter: Counting Crows. Never mind hopping around on stage; I've never seen any band do more with the music itself to make a live gig special.
Highest singing-the-dang-songs-on-autopilot snoozefest factor: PJ Harvey. Huge disappointment.
A couple others I really enjoyed that I don't think have been mentioned:
Tracy Bonham
Emm Gryner
Run DMC
Buffalo Tom
K's Choice
And an ultra-special honorable mention for Crash Test Dummies, just for the Britney Spears cover. Oh man.

Yeah, my parents saw them a few years ago and said it was great. They told stories and stuff from the road and a bunch of other stuff too.
