Wow i have been racking my brain over this one. they are both the same age, hit for about the same average last year although shelton had considerly fewer ab's. But if you project last years numbers out, Shelton ends up with more hr and rbi. I need someone to sway me one way or the other.

Shelton is in a logjam at 1b/dh for Tigers.
Tracy will gain eligibility at 3B this year, to go with 1B and OF.

I'd take Shelton over Tracy if they both had the exact same eligility....but with Tracy about to gain 3b, Tracy by a decent margin
