apparently they've decided to add RBI and Wins and losses to their tasty offerings.. to cater a bit more to the fantasy market perhaps? ;-D

Hmm, checked my local store this evening. No luck.

Too bad they don't update their PECOTA card with the 2006 comments on their website.

Even if they aren't catering to the fantasy crowd, I'd still like to have the book to help me figure out what the hell is going on in spring training. Grapefruit and Cactus league games have started. It's well past time for the Prospectus to be available.

Got mine today. ;-D ;-D

Never used it before so now I have to figure out how to use the darn thing. Any advice on what other users look for in the book that applies to fantasy?

The projections make the most use, but you have to take them with a grain of salt as well.

For instance, look at their projections for Carlos Pena and Chris Shelton. They both play the same position for the Tigers, but they project them both to get over 500 ABS. Obviously that is not going to happen. Mainly I get it because I enjoy reading about baseball and stats and it can provide some help.

I think that if you actually follow baseball on your own though, your own judgement is just as good as any of the various experts as to who good players are.

BP, like the ZiPS system, do not try to to forecast playing time. So, use a depth chart to identify starters first.
