I drafted the league champion

I think my team has a pretty good chance @ winning the championship. I was sure to cover all my bases (literally). I know I need a bigger hitting 1B but I think Overbay will come through this year. Let me know what you think:

C-Varitek (20HR, 75RBI , Piazza 20 HR, 70RBI)
1B-Overbay (30 HR, 95RBI)
2B-C Figgins (110R, 60SB)
3B-Wright (30HR, 110RBI, 15SB) Glaus (35HR 120RBI)
SS-Tejada (25HR, 100RBI)
OF-Edmonds (30HR, 100 RBI), Pierre (110R, 50SB) , Kearns (20HR, 80 RBI), G Jenkins (25HR, 85 RBI)
UTIL-B Hall (15HR, 60 RBI, 15SB)

SP-Colon, Beckett, Hudson, Weaver, Capuano, Clement
RP-Jenks, Wickman, Fuentes

Am I a champ or a chump?

See, Glaus is my DH so I dont want to get rid of him and his 37 HRs from last year. I've tried to package Beckett and Overbay for a big 1B but there are no takers.

If there are 12 teams or less in this league your hitting looks pretty weak, especially with kearns or jenkins as your 3rd outfielder and overbay as your only 1b. Your pitching is okay but I don't like fuentes as a closer since the rockies never win.

Fuenetes should be fine; the Rockies always find SV Opps for their closers. Overbay can't be better than other guys available. Maybe Fielder, Jacobs, Swisher--there's a lot of young guys with potential that could be contributors. You'll probably have to up the ante to get a 1B. Once you solve that, you should be right.

Can't you find a better player as a FA to DH than keeping Overbay at 1B? If not, trade Glaus, and upgrade at 1B. And Kearns shouldn't be starting until he proves he deserves it. He won't.

FA

The best 1B FA left are Casey, Erstad, N Johnson & LaRoche...for OF power there's Delucci, Ibanez, C Monroe and not much else...

When I look @ my line-up compared to the others in terms of HR I should be fine (I see 190 HR for my team) so that should be 2nd or 3rd best. Add 120 SB from Figgins & Pierre and I think I have some good balance.
