A nice read on Jim Thome

Postby Y`s Guy » Tue Feb 21, 2006 11:18 pm

Man, would I love to get this guy now that he is DHing in one of baseball's best home run parks. Do I take him at #40, #57 or wait and gamble that he'll fall to #72 in a 16-team league?

Hmmm...

And how do I name a URL link so that the long strand doesn't appear?

I think there's a good chance he falls to #90 or so, actually.

THANK YOU!! For the link info! That will help tremendously...

Sounds like Thome is coming to play though, he makes a nice addition to the 'I skipped 1B to take 3B/ OF/ 2B/SS in the first two rounds but want another large bat at a discount club', maybe a steal at the end of it if he really can be healthy and doesn't struggle too much in the new environment! ;-D
