What do you all think that the Pale Hose will put together for a
batting order. In particular, do you think Iguchi will hit in the
#2 hole again this year, or will his value be a bit better by
being a #3 or #5 guy?

i don't think iguchi will hit 3rd with konerko and thome there, 5th could be a possibility.
he'll more than likely start the season in the 2 hole.
i'm thinking the lineup will look like this:
Podsednik
Iguchi
Konerko
Thome
Dye
Anderson
Crede
Pierzynski
Uribe

This is what I'm thinking:
Pods
Iguchi
Thome(good on base guy)
Konerko(Better suited as cleanup guy)
Dye
Crede
Pierzinski
Anderson
Uribe

I'm pretty sure they are going to bat Iguchi in the 5 hole and give Uribe a shot after Pods.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

Projected Lineup:
#1 Scott Podsednik CF
#2 Juan Uribe SS
#3 Paul Konerko 1B
#4 Jim Thome DH
#5 Jermaine Dye RF
#6 Tadahito Iguchi 2B
#7 A.J. Pierzynski C
#8 Joe Crede 3B
#9 Brian Anderson CF
Outside of maybe flipping 3/4 and 6/7 I can't see this changing much.

yea I don't see him doing much this year. Personally I think this hurts the whitesox cause you know they are gonna be forced to play him no matter what. And he's not batting under 5th in the lineup.
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

Before last year, he played in 140+ games for 8 out of 9 seasons. If anything, I see him being undervalued a lot in lists. Yeah he is streaky, but that just means he is one of those players you have to gut out the entire season with..but in the end the results are worth it.
