You definitely have a good base to start with. Thome could hurt you though, so you had better hope that Fielder comes up big this year. Your offense should be middle of the road, but nothing too special. I don't see A Jones hitting 50 again, but you never know. I never like the idea of completely punting a cat, especially saves, because closers contribute to the ERA, WHIP and K cats as well. That said, your SP looks good with Oswalt and Sheets. Haren and Kazmir should both be solid. Santana could be a nice surprise. Your relievers look alright for not being closers. Linebrink is good as is Borowski and I don't know that much about Bowyer. Overall, I think you have some SP to deal if you need some instant offense, but I wouldn't expect to win this league.

How does the rest of your league look? Thome and Bonds are potential liablities, especially since you'll have a lot of ground to make up without SVs. Keep on the waiver wire and maybe try to package a SP and one of your hitters for a RP and a throw in.

Considering you've punted saves, I'm not sure what JoBo and Bowyer are doing on your roster. Drop 'em, and pick up a Dan Wheeler or similar to help you with ratios. The rotation's good, but that lineup doesn't strike me as full of mashers. Expect mediocrity.

Definetly need saves. Great outfield even if Bonds goes down. Thome may not play every game even at DH. Look to upgrade at 1b. Looks balanced

Your Hitting is Good. Just hope Thome and Bonds does good. Your starting pitching should be good. But I think your closers aren't that good.

Overall its a pretty good team, i agree with messyjesse1, about 7-8 out of 10.

i like the starting rotation, but i agree with those before me, you can't afford to punt saves, because even getting a few can give you some much needed points at the bottom of the barrel - see if you can't package one of your plentiful starters for a lower tier closers - sometimes all you need is 20-25 saves to rack up 4-5 points.
