12 team league head to head 5x5

C- Barajas
1B- Howard
2B- Utley
3B- Rolen
SS- Young
OF- Damon, Holliday, Hunter
Util- Hafner
Bench- Drew, Lowell, Jacobs

SP- Pettitte, Beckett, Vazquez, Loaiza, Liriano, Rogers
Closers- Street, Turnbow, Jenks

How is this team? I really liked my hitting at the time of the draft but then I realized I lack some speed. I know my starting pitching isn't that great but I hope my closers can help carry them. Also, do any of you know if Jacobs might move back to catching? I would much rather have him behind the plate than barajas.

I get the impression you are really counting on Rolen this season. Besides Hafner, you don't have real, proven power and you are right when you suggest your lack of speed.

Your RPs are pretty good and your SPs have some good potential, but you don't have a stud.

I like your team, but as the op said, you don't have the sure-fire player. Sure Young and Utley are nice, but neither is a lock for 30 homers, 100 rbis, or 50 sb's. Your starters are very iffy, none of them is a sure thing. I might trade some of that hitting to get another SP.

i think you need one more big bat. OF seems like the place to get it. Your SPs aren't flashy, but if they're righ this year (big IF), then you hsould be fine. Keep an eye on the waiver wire, but i'd try to swing a trade for a big marquis bat or SP.

How do you think my team would look with this trade that is pending? I am giving holliday and loaiza for dunn. I feel like this gives me the big bat that I need. On the other hand I lose pitching.
