just resting? might be aging myself but that reminded me of an old Monty Python sketch. That parrots not dead, he's just resting. Javy's not dead, he's just resting. He's pining for the fjords.

Pining for the fjords? Pining for the fjords? That bird (brave) would be pushing up the daisies if you hadn't nailed him the the perch. He's passed on. A stiff. He's dropped the curtain and joined the choir invisible. Bereft of life he rests in peace. This is an ex-parrot (catcher)......whew....glad I could get that out. It's been a while since I could quote Monty Python....feels kinda good, ya know??

Speaking of second tear catchers, though, it may be a good idea to pick up Bobby Estalella on the cheap. He was off to a flying start last year before a torn rotator cuff ended his season early. He will be backing up Johnson, but I've got to figure he gets 30-40 starts and is the big power bat off the bench for Colorado, and seeing how fragile Johnson can be, Estalella is at least a good one to have on your radar.
