The NBA SUCKS! In-regards to that thing they call the dunk contest:
Nate Robinson sucks. A.I. to A.I. was absolutely sick, up there with some of the best dunks ever. Nate Robinson missed his shitty ass dunk 14 times before he finally made it. None of his previous dunks were even that impressive. I am not one to say a dunk is good just because a midget threw it down. You still need to add some flavor to your moves. Kenny Smith must have some sort of Napoleon complex himself to get the judges to vote so highly for the midget from New York. Spud Webb sucks too. Iggy got robbed.
College by far. Now, I'm not a huge fan of basketball in general, but March Madness is better basketball than a full season and 30-year-long playoffs of the NBA. The brackets are friggin' awesome also when the tourney rolls around.
I honestly didn't know that the NBA ASG was on until an hour before it was played last night. I watched a movie instead and was glad I did after watching the highlights of it on SC afterwards.
I like college basketball better year-round. I can't stand watching NBA games. College is more exciting especially come March. Every team has a chance to win on every night.
College by far - team play, better defense, intense rivalries, march madness... it is also a much better sport to watch in person with the student sections, bands, etc. GO STANFORD
College by far. March Madness is (to me) the most exciting event in all of sports, and I'm a baseball guy. But besides that, I've been turned off of the NBA ever since the strike (lockout?). When Kenny Anderson whined about how he needed some money to pay the insurance on his cars, and he made $10M a year, that was about it for me.
Don't get me wrong, there are still a couple teams I find entertaining to watch (Suns, Mavs, and Pistons), but I don't go out of my way to watch the NBA at all. I'll watch a college game if there's nothing else on, but if my choice is the NBA or bed, I choose bed.
